The Full Story

There's been a fish and chip shop at Arfon House in Rhosneigr since the 1970s, so this beachside staple is well established. In 2015 the custodianship passed to the current owner, who christened it Scarlett's and nurtured it into becoming the flourishing business that it is today.

As a full-time resident it was important for Scarlett's to make sure it gave back to the local community that supported it throughout the year. To read more about Scarlett's vital community work please see the NEWS page.

Scarlett's Mission

Our mission is to serve fresh, sustainably-sourced fish, and raise a smile from everyone who crosses our threshold, be they locals or visitors.

We don't believe in messing with a good thing, so we keep this British classic just what it is: classic. With fresh cut chips, a traditional batter and deliciously seasoned mushy peas, alongside old favourites like scampi, sausages and our very popular new spice box (see the Trearddur Bay menu for more details), you're guaranteed a tasty and warming treat.

Trivia

Scarlett's is named after Scarlett O'Hara, from Gone With the Wind, a fierce, lovable and uncompromising heroine, much like the proprietor of Scarlett's herself.
